(See more details in the Application Form)<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"color: #666666;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>To be eligible for certification, restaurants must meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Restaurant must have been in operation at least six months prior to the date of application.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>At least 60 percent of dishes offered on the menu must be authentic Thai cuisine and the cooking methods must be the same\u00a0<\/strong><strong>or very similar to those in Thailand.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Head chefs may be either Thai or other nationalities. In case of non-Thai Head Chefs, the chefs must produce proof of at least\u00a0<\/strong><strong>a 2-year experience in cooking Thai foods or possess a Thai cuisine training certificate from an accredited institution.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"gmail_default\" style=\"color: #222222;\">Required Documents<\/h2>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\" style=\"color: #222222;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Copy of Certificate of Business Registration\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy of Certificate of Food Hygiene\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy of menu with photographs of at least three recommended dishes\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy of raw material purchasing order (last three months)\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy of Thai cuisine training certificate (if applicable)\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Restaurant\u2019s exterior photographs showing restaurant name\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Restaurant\u2019s interior photographs\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"gmail_default\" style=\"color: #222222;\"><strong>Optional documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Map of restaurant location<\/li>\n<li>Copy of award certificate (if any)<\/li>\n<li>PR\/Marketing Promotion Plan (if any)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of advertising\/promotional materials\/website (if any)<\/li>\n<li>In case of renewal, please attach the copy of previous Thai Select certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application form must be completed and attached the required documents\u00a0for\u00a0submitting to the nearest Thai Trade Center (The Office of Commercial Affairs) of the Dartment of International Trade Promotion (DITP).<\/p>\n<p>Thai Trade Center or representative from Thai Government agencies will\u00a0visit\u00a0the applicant&#8217;s restaurant without prior\u00a0notification and nominate applcant&#8217;s restaurant for approval and award Thai SELECT Certificate in the appropriate category.
